This is a very good book! At first I was a bit hesitant in reading it because of the BDSM and LBGT labels but it's not about that. It's not like 50 Shades, which creeped me out. Yes, this book has characters that practice alternative lifestyles,but the book is really more about the characters overcoming life's challenges no matter how difficult or painful or heartrending. There are a couple of chapters where I wasn't sure I wanted to read them or not but I just HAD to know what happens. So I read them. OMG!It's hard to put down. The details draw you in until you're relating to the characters and empathizing with them. I am not ashamed to admit that I cried in places, laughed in others and said "what?" in still other places. The characters are smart, witty, funny and involved in situations that get really intense really fast. I won't spoil it for you, but the attachments the characters form for each other are amazingly complex and complicated. If they were real people you would absolutely know without a doubt they love each other. Oh, I almost forgot my answer to the best part. I had to really think about this but - New York Style Cheesecake with a chocolate cookie crust.
Read this book. You won't regret it even if you're not into BDSM or LBGT.

This is a great book! I would recommend it to anyone who reads. The plot is well thought out and carries the reader along till the very end. The characters are visual and believable. I hope there's a second book coming soon.
